A two-wave panel survey conducted in the Palestinian Territories. Initial round of surveys conducted on populations across 17 villages between September and October 2008. The population sample is based on two population clusters (matched pairs). The villages are situated near two checkpoints: Za’atara (easement) and Wadi Nar (no easement). The first wave consisted of a random sample of approximately 600 Palestinian adults, interviewed face-to-face at Za’atara and Wadi Nar. Policy intervention occurred on May/June 2009. Post-treatment surveys were conducted with approximately 500 subjects in November 2009.
